Mr. Saktiprasad Chakrabarty is a Textile Graduate from Calcutta University. He has 30 years of experience in Textile Commissioner’s Office, Government of India, at senior level, with last appointment as Director (Technical). Prior to joining Government Services, he had four years of experience of working on Shop Floor.

During his long tenure, for more than a decade, he was closely associated with the Textile Industry and Textile Machinery Industry. He is well versed with the latest developments in the Textile Machinery at the national and international level.

He is presently working as the Advisor of Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (India), Mumbai since last eight years.
